Rodent Moonshine! It's sacred, I tell ya.

This is as good a time as any to mention that on the early portion of the trip, locals sell liquor to the porters. The liquor comes in two varieties: strawberries and corn. Dave misunderstood Carlos pronunciation of "Maize" (Spanish for corn) as "Mice" (they were speaking English) and had us convinced they were drinking fermented rodents.
