The Palace of Culture and Science

This would be a "cousin" to the seven sky scrapers Stalin had built in Moscow. It actually was a gift from Stalin to the Polish people. I just love the way these buildings look at night.

I enjoyed my visit to Poland, but did not fall in love with it. I thought it woudl be more like Russia and there is no doubt a lot of Russian influence, but it seemed more European to me than Russian. The city is practically brand new, but still looks original.
