Karbala Pilgrimage #1

This is an Islamic festival in which Shiite Muslims make a foot pilgrimage to Karbala. Once they arrive, they show their devotion by cutting themselves (and even their children) with knives. There's another similar Karbala pilgrimage that involves flailing oneself with whips.
