T. A. Coward and Great Bustards
March 28th 2021 Yesterday I was reminded of T. A. Coward when I came across a photo of a Great Bustard. As a schoolboy bird-watcher, I used to possess T. A. Coward’s magnum opus, The Birds of the British Isles and Their Eggs (first published in 1920–25).
