We went out to get dinner from a chinese take-away. It wasn't really chinese, considering they served fish 'n chips and burgers, but it was still good. We went down to the beach to eat; it was very windy, but nice. The seagulls descended on us like a swarm of carnivorous bacteria, but it was worth it. I'm Lara, currently 19 years old, and I left Germany for New Zealand on December the second. I have always wanted to travel, and I have already travelled some in my time, but never so far from home and quite so alone. I came here largely because of my undying love for Lord of the Rings, and also because of a general lack of anything better to do.
