Hotel in Pripyat abandoned like everything else

The radiation levels in Chernobyl town are back down at background levels; it currently houses 3000 people who work on decommissioning the power station. However, in Pripyat, as soon as you switch on the radioactive dosimeter it goes crazy – not just when you put it close to trees or equipment as in other parts of the exclusion zone.
