Day 4 - Peter Island and Cooper Island

This morning we snorkled in the caves before leaving our mooring pendant and heading out. We made our way to Peter Island where we dinghied ashore to visit Dead Man's Bar at the Peter Island Resort.

Peter Island is across a channel from Dead Chest Island. Dead Chest Island is the island mentioned in Robert Lewis Stevenson's "Treasure Island"..."Fifteen men on the dead mans' chest, Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum". Legend has it that the Pirates drowned trying to swim across the channel to Peter Island.

From there, we sailed on to Cooper Island....and the Rum Bar. After happy hour, we returned to the boat for dinner and a relaxing evening with Sean, Sarah, and Captain Bryan playing guitars.
