The current endeavor has me working as a director for a small humanitarian aid organization. Project MARC is a non-governmental organization that provides medical assistance to remote communities in island nations. The projects we do range from building clinics to installing water systems to vaccinating children. When you're a cruising sailor, your only freshwater shower comes from a waterfall. Otherwise it's seawater from a bucket.

At the end of the month I rejoined the crew for a week of prep and provisioning.
