The airport for Whangarei is on a small peninsular in the harbour, and this afternoon we thought we'd have a walk all round it. There is a road all round, and lots of houses, as well as good views of the harbour. You may spot the oil refinery and the Heads where we were on Wednesday. There were loads of planes taking off and landing, but never when the camera was ready - one flew right over our heads too!
