Just leaving New Zealand today bound for Chile, right the way across the Pacific Ocean.

Had a fantastic time here, travelling around both islands in only 2 weeks but managed to see most of them. We had fun bungy jumping, sky diving, white water rafting, glacier hiking, jet boating and swimming with wild dolphins. A busy couple of weeks but we both totally loved it -even Lynn enjoyed seeing NZ and doing all the activities for the second time!

We travelled around on the Stray bus, met loads of people, pretty wrecked from all the bus trips, weather not the best so we're looking forward to heading to South America for some proper sunshine, the tans are fading!

Probably won't have time to update this blog again in South American - pretty hectic couple of weeks ahead - 2 nights in Santiago, then flying to Lima (meeting up with Lynn's parents there for a day), then doing a 9 day trip including a 4 day trek of the Inca Trail. After that we fly to Buenos Aires and have two weeks to go overland to Rio, just in time for the Carnival - a great way to end our trip but then that does mean we'll be coming home and back to reality!

Hi Lynn and Dave Good to hear your NZ news even tho it's hard not to feel envious. I don't fancy the bungee jump but swimmingwith wild dolphins ...... I wish!! All well here - grey but not freezing. Andy heads off to France skiing tomorrow for few days. The rest of us stuck at school. Have a great time in SA - wish I was there to help with Spanish! God bless S x
