Another long drive today from Lake Tekapo to Kaikoura via Geraldine, Ashburton, Rakala and Chrsitchurch. Again, I'll just upload a few photos.

This small stone church was once the only buillding overlooking Lake Tekapo, but noew a tourist settlement has arrived. The main window is unusual - no stained glass means a lovely view

Bob and Betty join me to see a British built diesel train that held the speed record in NZ 50 years ago - 79 mph! 10 of these were sent by sea - 1 sank.
