In Queenstown we walked a lot. Also went on a jet boat on the river - very exciting.
We went from Queenstown to Wanaka - both Queenstown and Wanaka are next to lakes with mountains nearby - very pretty.

After Wanaka we went to Mount Cook National Park for a couple of days. Very Beautiful area in the mountains, but it was very windy and rained a lot - we still managed to do some hiking in the park though.

We are now in Franz Joseph on the West Coast of the South Island. We walked to the Glaciers today - very impressive, you cannot walk right up to them but you can get pretty close. (Actually you can go up to them if you have a guide).
