On arrival on the South Island we took ourselves directly to the wine country and booked ourselves on a bike wine tour. Great fun, definitely recommend it, just need to remember after lunch is most definitely harder than before. Day trip included: jet boating, helicopter ride & 5 luges, we then went on to play mini golf, not a bad day.

These are photos of a power station near Doubtful Sound, most of its power goes to supplying a tefal (I think) factory only 20% going to the national grid.
