Hi everyone,

As we slept walked next door to our dolphin encounter, at 5.20 am, we were praying that the sea would be kind to us. There was talk that it may be quite rough today. With great difficulty we struggled into our wet suits which I swear were modelled on skinny dwarves. They were so tight( not just ours) that we had to walk like hunchbacks. The elasticated fabric being incredibly resilient. I entered the water and had trouble catching my breath at first as it was so cold. Because the suits were very buoyant you couldn’t lift your head up without turning on your back. Eventually I relaxed and started to sing. We were advised to sing and make noises to attract the dolphins. It was funny listening to 12 people all singing different tunes. After trying out various tunes I found out what they really liked..... Take That. Every time I sang “ today this could be the greatest day of your life” they started swimming round me. What good taste. There were lots of them coming and going. I counted 6 around me at one point. After a couple of swims we got dressed and warmed

Pat can’t fight the elastic suit to sit up straight ! Lol
up. Well worth the early morning and cold water.

Later we popped into a place where we saw a sheep shearing demo. I also got to feed a lamb. Ahh! Pat took a photo of my toenails which will obviously require expert attention from one of my colleagues when I return lol I couldn’t help showing the farmer a photo of some nails I had to trim which looked very similar to the rams horns he was showing us. He thought my photo

was disgusting. I wonder why? I was given a bag of sheeps wool freshly sheered which I can use to craft with and for free. RESULT!

After this we went for a walk to a seal colony and managed to get very close to some adorable but apparently quite dangerous seals. They looked cute anyway.
