Niamh Cooney
Just a quicke here, thought the photos were too good to not include. Also thought I had better set the scene for my travels on from Queenstown. Of the 3girls I was sharing a flat with, 1(clodagh) stayed in queenstown and myself and the other 2(Judith/Niamh) took "Chavvy" (their shared car), for a 7day loop of the South Island. We would end up in Christchurch where Niamh would drive Chavvy back to Queenstown, and Judith and I would fly to Wellington to see Gogo and Barry (friends who relocated to wellington at the end of the ski season)

As previously mentioned, Prison Break (the TV show) was a regular feature in our household, and when within the first couple of hours we were crossing "Fox River". The photo opportunity was too good to miss, and I think Niamh really wishes she could get inside the prison!

The other photo is of one of the many random beaches/coastline stops we made. The scnerey in New Zealand truly is stunning, If you

stopped for photos at every opportunity, you'd never get to where you were going! So, our first stop was to be Fox Glacier village, where we had booked an Ice Climbing trip the following day - which we assumed to be a bit of a trek, with a few bits of climbing thrown in for good measure... little did we know! In the Meanwhile, we had heard there was a great spot nearby called Gillespie Beach, so it being Judith's 24th birthday, we headed off with barbeque in tow despite the weather.

Hi from a Niamh in Wellington
Hi guys Just Googling on my daughter's name and found your entry. Funny that you're visiting here, pity your Niamh didn't come to Wellington (where we live). Niamh is a pretty unusual name here in NZ but I guess not so unusual worldwide, same with Cooney. Hope you enjoyed your visit to NZ, we love living here (we are locals, though Niamh was born in the UK). Cheers
