Hey guys,

Sorry its been a while but were gonna try and get you all caught up on our south island trip. So weve been on south island for about 8 days now and I should first let you know that if you're following our progress on a Itinerary you should prob just throw it away (at least as far as south island is concerned. Of the top of my head we were supposed to be in Christchurch for about 5 days then up to nelson, then arthurs pass, queenstown and so on. Well 5 days in christchurch turned into just over a week , but a very good week. Included in this week were watching canterbury play at jade, playing a round of golf staying up at a bar in town till 4am to watch firstly the springboks kick some wallaby ass, then to watch a rather pitiful display from newcastle against fulham (you can stop laughing now dad!). On one day we went to Christchurches art's centre and found ourselves making beaded knecklaces (hence the desire to spend days watching and playing sport to confirm our masculinity and pump up the testosterone levels). We spenst most nights round

never mess with a woman with a spatchular
Craigs but did spend a few hours round beckys mostly playing with her dog who is the softest cutest boxer ever (i've included a photo!) We also squeezed in a trip to Hanmer springs where we spent a few hours soaking in thermal pools to unwind and any roumers you may hear about me and craig wasting hours playing rugby 2005 are damn dirty lies! I should also mention that on a day trip to Akoroa we lost the camera by leaving it on a bench in the centre of town and neadless to say we were less than happy! however this being newzealand and Akoroa being a sleepy little coastal town we had the amazing good fortune to ring up the information centre and find it had been handed in to lost property!! we were so happy we jumped in Craigs car bought him a tank of gas and made the 3 hour round trip for the second time in 2 days, we decided then and their that we were most worried about loosing the photos and so have removed the memory card currently holding 2 months(900 or so) worth of photos and put it in a safe place

check out the concentration
and started clicking away on a new memory card. Now I feel it only fair to warn you that I decided to get myself another tatoo as a memento of the trip (now mum if you can stop screaming for 2 seconds, i can explain) its a Maori design and is above sleve level on almost all of my shirts and so easily coverable.

Moving quickly on we have started our recently revamped south Island road trip and spent yesterday at becky's parents batch (holiday home) near the west coast in reefton, today we have driven out to greymouth and have so far made it as far as Hokitika and will soon be heading off for an afternoons drive as far as Haas. Tommorrow we will get to queenstown were we will do all sorts of death defying stunts including; bungy jumping, powerboating, luging and skiing. We will also be doing a day trip to Milford Sound befor heading down to dunedin and then back up through the centre (stopping somewhere for the night) back to christchurch where our New Zealand adventure will come to an end, boooo!!!!!! and we will be less than a week from going back
there she blowsthere she blowsthere she blows

natural blow hole on the west coast
to the real world, boooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but we will get to see all you guys and bore you to death with photos and videos, yay!!!! I've posted up a few recent photo's but I think there are a few on the old memory card that you wont have seen, which I will try to remember to post up.
