Elaine and i have now been joined by another friend, Emily, and for her this is her third time in New Zealand and i think that for her this is her favourite place. What has been most notable since she joined us though is the amount of moving about we have done. As i write these words we are due to stay in our eighth different hostel in as many nights, something that seems quite bizarre, but given that we want to see as much of NZ as we can it seems appropriate.

Now though we plan to stay in Queenstown for almost a week and then go to Dunedin for a few days after this so the huge amount of moving about has now ended.

Since Emily joined us we have had some more cool experiences. One of which was a brewery tour in a small town called Greymouth, the woman who led the tour was totally clueless and clearly did not know what she was on about. Also the brewery wasn't even working when we went there so Miss Clueless left most of it to our imagination. She often asked if there were any questions and (though i am too nice a guy to actually ask them) three questions came to mind

1)How many times have you done this tour before?
2)How much are you being paid for this?
3) (Following her statement that one of the kegs was "called a fifty litre keg") Why is it called that?

Anyway afterwards we got to sample many different beers and i got seriously drunk, we hooked up with a couple of local guys and i was seriously out of it during my conversations with them.

Still, i am not a big drinker and the fact was that we had an hour during which we could drink as much as we wanted. I say, if its there take it and get your money's worth.
