Queenstown South Island

Hello Father its been a while since my last blogg !!!!

Since we were last in touch we have been travelling around South Island, we have done around 1000kms so far & we are about to head back up country on the opposite side from Christchurch from Queenstown, through Wanaka, Franz Joseph, Greymouth & then back to Christchurch.

The weather has been amazing, touching 30 most days with blue sky. We have been to see the Blue Penguines come ashore, panned for gold in an old Gold town. ( Didnt find any though ! )

Yesterday we did my favorite thing in the world........going up high !!!! we went in a lovely cable car up about 600m oh i enjoyed that so much, it was best when it went over the supports & wobbled, then it got even better when we went another 100m up in a chair lift so we could luge back down the side of a mountain looking out over the drop.........oh goody !!

Today we went jet boating up a canyon, Oscar & i loved it Jane & jessica were not so sure, 80kmh in a boat between rocks then the driver spins it in its own length without slowing down.......great fun.

I will throw some photos of our travels on my next update back in christchurch.

I hope you all have fun back at work ha ha & the kids are really sad because they will be missing school !!
