Sunshine Bay and a beer! mmm nice
Here we are eventually in Queenstown, after an interesting journey in our 'Beastie' of a campervan. After some 6km of off roading we arrived at Lake Hawea campsite, a liitle paradise, which we disrupted with our beer drinking antics! Not quite drunk enough to test the water out though. The water was the colour of a Bombay Saphire Gin bottle, vibrant blue! Somehow two northern girls between us managed to stall a diesel beast on several occasions including at a roundabout in the centre of town. Parking was also quite a challenge in itself considering we are both used to little dinky cars.

Now we are here staying in Queenstown, in our 'Lodge', looking forward to exploring the countryside, bars and local talent. Typically for us we were not that orgaised and had no accomodation for new year but after a slightly stressful morning we are now sorted! The nightmare of camping in the park was just a bad dream, thank God.

Merry Christmas!
