Day 79, Nelson

So its easter sunday evening and all the shops are closed. Beans and cheese on toast for dinner it had to be! There are a lot of 'international' (i mean non-english speaking) backpackers at our hostel. Last night they all sat round playing the guitar and singing songs. Chris, Helen and myself spelt out crazy things on the fridge with the letter magnets and watched legally blonde on TV! How uncultured are we but i bet we had the most fun!

Today we had a lazy morning - I can't put my book down. 1.30am last night i was still reading it even though i was half asleep. Jen, i'm finally loving Angels and demons!

Its a beautiful day so we went in sunny down to Nelson beach - felt like i was back on oz except it was definatly a lot cooler. Still managed to sunbathe. i looked tanned again next to Chris and Helen who are very white and new to the tanning thing.

The town centre is busier today, most place are open. We decided on tonights menu it would be Thai Green Curry so we've stocked up on ingredients for that.

Other than that, i chilled day. Leave early tomorrow to drive to picton to drop sunny off, then get the ferry to the North island.

Ha, well as an "international" I would have sung some choice Norwegian songs to the guitar and then spelt out "If u can read this u are an english-speaking uncultured twit" on the fridge, watched legally blonde and drunk lots of campari...see you can do a bit of everything! Make some foreign friends! Oh, forgot you have...very friendly...not me, I meant the Australian...bet u have kissed him you tart! x
