Well, feeling a little nervous, jac and I embarked on this 'moderately demanding' 5 day tramp. Nervous because not only was it my longest and hardest tramp to date (average 6-8 hour days), it was also my first summer tramp, and me and heat and exercise dont normally have a particularly jolly time together. In the winter this whole valley fills with snow, so they have to take out the bridge because there is basically this snow-river. Amazing

Swingbridges became synonymous with the cry 'Home!' There seemed to always be one by the huts on this tramp.
