Milford & Routeburn Tracks

Kia Ora, its been ages since my last blog pretty much due to laziness an ive finally sat down to blog out again, so im still in Queenstown and summer time is well underway. Im working for Ultimate Hikes again this summer season and its been awesome so far, nice comming back as a second year guide and having a clue as to whats going on. We have a sweet crew of bout 25 guides an some pretty interesting cats amongst us. Im working on the Greenstone and Routeburn Tracks but am in the middle of 3 weeks on the Milford Track due to Milford guides becomming injured and sick (they not quite as hard as Routy guides) The Milford Track experience is amazing, our lodges are quite literally hotels surrounded by the most amazing mounatins and forests its kinda unreal. I have to say though I still think the Routeburn is even more beautiful but its hard to compare the two. Its just an amazing part of the world an I can see why they wanted Milford to be the 8th wonder of the world! Keri an I have bought mountain bikes and been kicking around the trails and coronet peak in free time, never knew how choice mountain biking is, Forry got one to so been fun watching him stack all over the place. Queenstown is cranking with summer bringing garden bars, lakeside bbqs and concerts galore! Xmas an new years was spent back north with family and friends eating an drinking non stop, beaching it and catching up with bros, caught up with brotha Russ an his lovely lady after 2 & half years for beers and laughs. Still planning on south east Asia this winter form bout mid may, have some cool ideas but we see how it turns out, Anyways to much been going on an photos can describe way better than I can so till next time, big love everyone
