Our campervan park was located just beyond the boats to the left of this shot - about a 5 min walk.

This is the ferry that is used to ship passengers between the North and South islands. We have heard that it's cheaper to go on a freight boat - so we're going to check that out before we book this when our time comes to move North.

The captain of the mail boat was great - he was telling us what everyone was getting delivered. This lady is getting some hardware to help maintain her property.

This guy has made his own landgin jetty, so the Mail boat is not allowed to land at it. Thus,the chap has to come out to meet the mail boat in his own small cat.

We stopped here for 15 mins to see the Cook monument and have some coffee and ginger nut biscuits. Very tasty.

In the sunshine, it's so visually stunning and peaceful here - but we gather it is absolutely baltic in the winter months.

This one is called 'Radler' and is infused with lemon and lime. Tastes like a nice shandy, or Top Deck. Was anyone else banned from taking Top Deck for packed lunch on school trips? It had like 0.000001% acohol in it yet teachers were mega paranoid that you were going to get drunk aged 10. Hel-low?!

Hi guys. Trip to Whitsundays was aboard the Kiana. Usually costs about $450 I think but a friend of mine goit some crazy deal for half price but there may have been some shennanigans with the travel agent!
