Onwards I travel!! Travelled along the west coast from Nelson to Franz Joseph, through beautiful mountains and rivers, all this fantastic scenery is becoming the expected norm! Passed by Mount Cook and arrived at Franz Joseph at lunchtime. By 3pm I was on a Helicoptor up the Glacier where we hiked for about 2 hours, the colour of the ice is amazing and my photographs do not do it justice. Our guide thought our experience would not be complete without climbing through an ice tunnel, yeah, got a wet bum!
Only one night here and back on the bus to Lake Wanaka!

Onwards and upwards
Good for you girl, you are really making the most of this trip with your excursions et al. I am finding it hard to imagine the size of the bag you must be lugging about with you, given the variety of shoes and clothes you must be needing for it all. All the exercise too. Keep sending us your info and photo's. Take care. X

David Bailey eat your heart out !
Wel wee Sue. You're having all the fun whilst us mere mortals are truckdown here with the post Christmas/New Year blues - it's no fair ! Great to hear from you again and to be a part of your adventure. News from my bhoys. The Celts have just signed Robbie Kean, a wee lad from Tallaght in Dublin. Harry Rednapp, the Tottenham boss said " It's in the blood of the Irish lads to dream of playing for Celtic one day" That's my club Sue - Ireland's greatest export ! Take care and enjoy. Hail hail !
