Last night we had a “stag-do” for Chris. Here's something you won't see in the states - Chris's brother Greg is a police detective in Dunedin and we spent most of the night at the police bar...located on the third floor of the police station...complete with 6 different beers on tap, a full selection of liquor and full view of the city. I doubt that's going to happen in Dallas! We finished playing blackjack at the Dunedin Casino.

Today we drove up the Otago peninsula and up into the hills to the Lonarch Castle. The castle/mansion was built in the 1800's by a very wealthy NZ landowner. We got great shots of Dunedin in the distance on the way. At the castle the views were incredible- you can see Frodo in the Shire if you look hard enough.

We finished the evening with a wedding rehearsal and dinner and drinks at Chris's mum's house which of course overlooks the bay. Everybody overlooks the bay.
