After the earthquake destruction had been safely cleaned up, we accepted the invitation from our friend Sarah to visit Christchurch. Her mother kindly met up with us and provided us a local tour of Christchurch. We visited the zoo, fed a giraffe and watched rugby! It was a great end to our road trip but sad to see how beautiful Christchurch had been destroyed.
