First Week!

wow, it has been a hectic first week here! ive been job hunting.. not going too well atm, ive been setting up back accounts which i cant use... banks fault not mine! ive been finding out about where i live andhow to get around and also i have been paragliding! 😊 its been weird coming away from home, i do miss home already but im sure ill settle into it soon, but mother will be reassured i can cook for myself and clean! ... even though i did you fabric softener instead of detergent.... flat mates fault! lol
its really nice here and we are pretty well set up, me and jack (flat mate) have our own rooms with double beds and then a kitchen and living room in one as well , also with a balcony! also eveything is in walking distance and the city its really nice to walk through.
it was very hot the first few days but it has been cooler recently with a fair bit of rain too!
on the 4th day i was here me jack tom and charlie went paragliding in Sumner, it was in the evening so we got to see the sunset while flying in the sky over some amazing rolling hills and mountains. It was a really relaxing experince actually not scary at all... execpt for spiralling which is great fun! we all really enjoyed that and especially a crazy french guy who kept trying to land on a mini camper van and well didnt quite get it right.. hitting the back, falling onto the road then falling backwards with his glider landing on top of him! i will put some pics and maybe a video up soon.
i have had 2 rugby training sessions, both went ok, but the 2nd was a practice match which turned out to be a bit unfair but was a good starting block for the season. i walked into a changing room with daniel carter aaron mauger, marshall and many other all black names above pegs where they all used to sit and change... was a very special room. now im still on the job hunt and trying not to spend too much money! hope people are well and write to me and i will try to write back as soon as i can 😊
