We Have arrived in the South island

We had a lovely scenic flight over to NZ and after and early start at 5:30am Oz time this morning we decided to just chill in Christchurch after picking up the van.

We nearly never got here after Graham tried to smuggle a bannana into the country which is a really big offence here, but thankfully I spotted it through the mesh of his backpack and he abandoned it on the plane!

Lovely weather tonight and we are knackered so we just sat outside the van with a bottle of red and a big platter of olives and cheese and stuff - makes us look quite sophisticated!!

The van smells funny but bonus it actually retains its speed going up hills way better than the last one!
