March 24th 2007 Well, the end of our New Zealand story is almost over...it's hard to believe we've been here for a month but what an amazing month it's been!

After our Glacier adventure we hit the road to Hokitika for a night at Birdsong Backpackers. We arrived into town at 8 o'clock...just as every shop, supermarket and off license closed...typical! We did, however, manage to grab a pint of milk from a petrol station for that all important cuppa!! (how old do we sound?!)

After a very comfy night in the Spoonbill room (there was a bird theme throughout!) we hit the road again, taking in the amazing views of Arthur's Pass on our way back to Christchurch...our final destination!
