Spring Break! (in August?)

Spring Break was amazing!

Itinerary:

Bus to Picton
Ferry from Picton to Wellington
Wellington for 4 days
Flight to Auckland
Bus to Rotorua (Day trip)
Auckland for 5 days
Flight to Christchurch

Throughout the trip I visited a Maori Village (only Geothermal in the world), went to museums, LOTR's Weta Cave (where it all started), tramped on inactive volcanos (Mt. Hutt, Mt. Eden, Rangitoto, etc), went to the Capital of NZ, stayed in a hostle, saw mud pools, ate geothermal corn, and more!

the weather seemed to perfectly match our trip as it rained on days we stayed inside and was clear when we went tramping!

I truly found my haven here. its hard not to forget about every worry, every concern, every thought. looking out at such an astonishing overlook leaves you absolutely breathless. unable to describe. it's no wonder people in NZ are nicer. they have the aesthetic opportunity that most do not have. you really develop an appreciation of not just nature but the chance to take a break from hassling life.

but thats just hippie talk.

greatful doesnt even begin to describe.
