day 81

got up this morning and made our way south towards wellington to catch the ferry to picton and the south island, the journey never seemed to end it took us hours, we went down through masterton and through to wellington.
the drive down was quite enjoyable, the scenery was great but it just took so bloody long, we got to wellington late afternoon and booked into a hotel and then went to dinner, we walked down into the main street and there was plenty of places to dine but it was absolutely freezing so we din\dnt walk about as much as we would have liked, we ended up in a malaysian/indian restaurant which was average and went back to the hotel.
