This is a hill in Whangarei with wonderful views over the town and estuary. You can drive up, but its only 40 minutes to walk (aka climb). It was a glorious afternoon (sorry for those who approach winter) but we kept cool as the walk is entirely through the bush, right to the very top. I only took 1 picture, so most of these are of me, taken by the master photographer - - Alex. All the time in the bush, the birds are squawking, and it sounds as if you're in the Amazon. Its really loud.
