A few of the folks met in NZ
Hi there

Thought I would finish of Ebs travelblog for her. We have had a couple of hectic days starting with a night out at the Racetrack on Friday which is where it all started the Sunday after Eb arrived. She has met quite a few folk and a lot of them wanted to come and say goodbye to her. I think a good night was had by all if the hangover on Saturday morning was anything to go by.

We didn't do much on Saturday except recover and do some packing. As you can see, Eb was really busy trying to get everything in her case. Then we got ready to go out for an Indian in Hamilton before the Chiefs v Brumbies game atnight. Unfortunately the Chiefs lost but we did see some famous names there - Stirling Mortlock, George Gregan, Stephen Donald, Marty Holah, Liam Messam and Jono Gibbes to name but a few. The atmosphere was really good and Eb enjoyed going to her first 'proper' rugby match.

We were home by 10 and even though we had decided to get up at 5 to watch the Scotland v England game, none

of us felt tired so it was nearly midnight before we went to bed. We all got up to watch the game and we don't want any comments about the score (Dad in particular). Eb stayed up after the match but me and Andy couldn't stay awake so had another hour before Eb woke us at 8.

We left here at 9 to go up to Auckland Airport. We went and had a game of crazy golf first which is just next to the airport, then Eb checked in at mid-day. We had a wonder round the shops and had some lunch, then Eb was whisked away at 2pm to go and get her flight.

There were a few tears on both sides and it was quite hard saying goodbye after 5 months together. Still, we should be over in the summer and will see Eb and the rest of family and friends then.

So, to all of you who have read the Diary over the last few months, hope you have enjoyed it. Ebs on her way home now and should be back with you all by 6am on Monday morning. Good luck to her mum, dad and Trudi for getting up early to meet the flight. Hope Trudi doesn't go in to labour.

Message for you Eb - thanks for the card it was lovely and Uncle Andy says Wales have no chance at the weekend!!!!

See you all soon.
