Greetings one and all.
So I went a bit mental the other day and did this (points to first photograph).
Yup that's me, 15,000 feet in the air and reaching a speed of 200kmh on the way down. Wasn't actually that scary - as I had figured in my head you're so high up you don't really realise how high you are. Admittedly when you first exit the plan it's terrifying but it's because you experience what the nice people at the company call a "Sensory Overload" and you have no idea what's actually going on. Hence me opting to jump from 15,000 and not 12,000 - extra 20 seconds of freefall you see.
Anyway, it was very cool and if I can get a proper job on the south island I may well do the Queenstown one too, apparently the scenery is even more impressive.
So what else have I done? Hmm....not a lot really, went to see the Huka Falls yesterday, then swam in the hot spring by the river and then went to another part of the river where someone had attached a rope swing so we mucked about on that for an hour.
How bad is this though? I jump out of a plane roughly 3.5 miles above the earth and get home smiling, I then jump probably less than 3.5 metres from a rope into a river and then on the way out of it stub my foot on a rock - this may not seem like much but I've limped to this internet cafe and have decided to upload a photo of my foot so you can see I'm not just being a big girl...
I'm sure I had more stuff to say - I may have to start making notes through the day to then put into a blog...

Freefall?
Nah, you were hanging on a bit of string , I can see it in the photos! You were really just a couple of feet off the ground. Were you having anal sex with that bloke at the same time?
