Rotorua

Day 9- A long extremely long journey to Rotorua today - everybody was tired. Went for tea when we got here to a restaurant where dad had to cook his own meal on a 400'C volcanic stone. He was worried that his chicken wasn't cooked enough! We had pasta.....and are still alive.

Day 10 - Went to Puia and saw gurgling pools and gushing geysirs, there is loads of hot steam coming out of the ground. Tim was lying on the ground as it was so warm. Saw a Maori village and huts and saw a Kiwi in an enclosure but couldn't take a photo - sorry!
Going to a maori Hangi feast tonight with dancing and food.
