Hi all. Well we survived our long weekend diving trip at Poor Knights Island - classified as one of the world's top 10 dive sites by Jacque Cousteau - one of my childhood heros. After the group was back out of the water for just over an hour we went back in for one more pleasure dive to look at the aquatic life in the area. It was such a fantastic feeling to float weightless suspended between sea floor and surface - just like space - as we picked our way over the face of a vertical wall examining its life forms including many of these guys.....

So many different varieties and colours. we saw urchins, numerous fish and eel species along with spongs, fans, sea weed etc... I took along the waterproof tourist camera mom left behind we'll see if any photos turn out.

A bunch of tired divers in rough seas. this was our main living space and at night was where half the group slept. On the way back someone spilled a Bourbon and Coke mixed drink, while I wasn't feeling sea sick before this I quickly got sick to my stomach and had to leave the room, as it smelled like a rough Sunday morning and with that amount of movement in the boat I just couldn't stomach it.

We nearly were off solid ground for two days. Wow what a great weekend.

Great sea and diving photos
Best treatment for sea sickness is a greasy raw porkchop on a string, swallow and pull back up. Removes all offending particles left in stomach. Glad you didn't have a Great White lunch on the bottom
