Fiji was a great time with great people Arrived on Fiji we decided to go on a 11 nights / 12 days trip on which we would be able to see 5 islands and stay at least one night on a boat between some islands. We had a awesome time and really fun with lots of nice people.
The mainland is not that nice - it's more dirty than the islands and the smell of burned waste is in the air. So it was a good choice to get out to the beautiful and small islands of the Yasawas and Mamanucas. There is a ferry which takes a tour one time up in the morning to the farest islands and it comes back in the late evening to the mainland.
The islands were almost all beautiful with crystal clear water, nice beaches, palms, nice food, friendly people, clean dorms (big sleeping room) and lots of activities. We did snorkeling at awesome reefs and saw Nemo with his friends. Kayaking was also an provided activity. Beachvolleyball, hammocks, frisbee, lazy laying at the beach, reading a book, playing cards or dancing the Bula dance were also common and welcome activities.

the first day in Nadi - lots of dogs at the beach What we can say about Fiji:
It's a great place with the beautifullest sunset we ever saw. The islands are small but very nice (only the corals sting into your foot) and the people are very funny. We met a lot of other travellers and had fun together. The water is very warm (28 grad celcius) and there is a huge variety of underwater life. Ideal for snorkeling and diving.
