Perth

After flying from Melbourne, we spent about a week in Perth (and couple of days in Margaret River). Thanks to our wonderful cousins, we were ferried here there and everywhere to see some sights. The beaches are all so fabulous, despite not so perfect weather for swimming. Some highlights: we liked out visit to the Perth Mint. Saw gold actually being melted, then made into a brick. Saw the start of the airshow from the crest of King's Park. Plane formation and 4 parachutists over the Swan River.
We stayed with our cousins who have an apartment overlooking the Swan River. So we enjoyed great views daily. I did get to see the Southern Cross one evening.
