june 1 09. awestruck by white puffs of nimbus blue-grey behind and above that clear blue dubbayu ai (W.A.) sky: a crystal dream; still on first day of winter. and it's foundation day that oddment of our history when white people first set up their irrestible rule. here now claremont quiet holiday the non happening of being there where those of who call this home know how lucky we are. because the weather is every day and this is as good as it gets. for months, four months. i love the striking stillness: red leaves rocking, moving on autumnal trees whose baring branches beckon a time to come of chill wet winds. for now but i sigh sublime. bloke walks by and says 'that's the c___ who wants to change the flag.' can you believe it? spose it's because i've got stickers in my pocket for the fist time in months. becks bier.
