We've Arrived!

Hi All,
We arrived safe and sound yesterday at around 10am UK time, but it was 5pm here. Pretty bumpy flight but easy to get through really with the amount of movies you can chose from, and it was lovely to be met with a big hug at Perth airport from Auntie Marie and Uncle Terry. We were really tired though as we only managed about 2 hours sleep each on the journey - leading us to sleep in until 12.30 on our first night - that was after having woke up at 3am and being wide awake for 2 hours though! Seems it might take a bit of getting used to...
So after our late start we decided to stay local to Auntie Marie and Uncle Terry's house in the Bateman suburb of Perth, where we took Baby James to the park and for a ride in the trolley at the supermarket, then later went for a walk around Piney Lakes which is a beautiful park area near to the house.
This evening we have been on a driving tour of the south side of the river, and the views accross to the centre of Perth were amazing - we tried to capture the moment in a photograph but it just didn't come accross very well! We went up to the river bank, and then over to see Point Walter, and some of the affluent suburbs of the city where the houses were incredibly impressive!
Plan for tomorrow is to head into the city and see the sights up there.

Hi Bears, Glad to hear you have arrived safe and sound. Dad has been telling me that you were trying to sort out your mobile sim at 3am in the morning - at least it wasnt a waste of time! I have set the times and weather reports on my phone for your destinations and keep looking at them thinking I wonder what you are doing! Looks like you have had a good first day sightseeing and getting to know the area - mind the snakes!!! I will try and text you at a decent time for you so I dont wake you up and let me know if you recieve it so I know it works.
