I'm doing this backwards...i forgot to publish these photos...which are actually from before the aquarium. Last sunday we went to this fantastic doggy beach which is an especially designed beach to walk your pooch. Yet another marvel over here which is a perfectly normal thing for all who live here but a very unique experience for me...twas like doggy heaven! You'd swear ever dog had a smile on it's face. After that myself and reuben cycled to Hilary's Pier and enquired about scuba diving courses but after discovering that the shortest course is 5 days i've decided to leave it to Thailand. Then we went exploring and climbed the lighthouse and admired the view of the sea and thenstrolled and sunned ourselves...sure how bad!
On monday we had our first day in the big smoke(and it was actually the opposite - eerily clean air for a city!) and on our way out there at 6.30 bells in the morning we caught a ride with John and made our own way out from his work. He's an antique restorer and we couldn't help but have a look around the shop and workshop - bursting with immaculate and historical pieces. The city was
good fun but quite commercial shopwise. However architecturally, compared to Ireland, the buildings have been maintained to their former glory. And it's a nice contrast between the tastefully structured skyline and the older inner city. Oh yeah and not only is it bursting with varying cultures, i was astounded by the volume of Asians living here. And word is that it's predicted by many that not before long, parts of Oz might just be an extension of Asia. Speaking of which, with all the modern conveniences here, it's not so different to home, and i'm finding it very difficult to prepare myself for the culture shock on the horizon for us! Well I'm waffling...signing off for now! xxx

well if you think thats good, it rained heavely here sat. i got locked on the juice friday, and oh yea didn't get that contract, bastards. dont worry about the lack of tec in other parts. life gets better the simplier it gets. oh to hunt and gather. They know what is what, but they don't know what is what, what the fuck??????????
