Hi travel followers.

We are now in Monkey Mia / Denham after spending a few days at Carnarvon Western Australia.

At Carnarvon we visited places like the Blow Hole, the One Mile Jetty, (we did a bit of fishing from here) and the OTC satellite station etc. All very nice, but one of my specific highlights was coming across and getting up close and personal with a "thorny Devil" (see photo). What a magnificent and unique little lizard they are. Who couldn't love them.

From Carnarvon we moved further down the coast to Australia's most westerly town (Denham) and caravan park etc. The coastal scenery from the elevated Caravan sites is spectacular and our site became even better when we were visited by a resident Shingleback Blue Tongue Lizard. (see photo)

This morning we travelled the short distance across the western peninsular to the renowned Monkey Mia, famous for their daily visits by Dolphins and then feeding.

On our return we came across a couple of Emu's just wandering down the main street. How often do you see that!!!

Hope you like the photos.

Wow!!!
Hey nice to see you got an underwater camera, and the results are certainly spectacular! It broought back lovely memories, of when my husband and I went snorkelling on the Big Island in Hawaii a few years ago. We were lucky enough to see a huge Manta Ray when we went on a night tour. It swam right above us and was feeding on plankton. It was an amazing experience and they are such graceful creatures. Nice work saving the Thorny Devil too, I am sure he appreciated it too. You are certainly coming across your share of wild life. Keep those amazing images coming. Loved the desert sunset shot! Happy and safe travels
