Goldrush Kalgoorlie

Drove up from Esperance to Kalgoorlie which took 4 hrs, once i got there i stopped at the Superpit which is a real eye opener, the dump trucks are the size of houses but they look like little tonka toys they are that far down. The next day was sight seeing and the hall of fame came first, which took me into a real mineshaft and showed me the history of mining in the area.

I stayed in a backpackers called Golddust which was run by a very stern but lovely lady called liz who really looked after me. The hostel is on hay street which also houses 3 brothels all within 100 metres of each other. I did a tour of the oldest one Questa casa and learnt all about the history of prostitution again an eye opener!!
