HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
We landed safely in Melbourne on Wednesday and have been staying with our friend in Hamilton. Had a good drive around, everything is so much bigger over here than it is in England, took us 4 hours to get from the airport to her place! Think that the UK fits into the State twice and the area of flooded land is the size of France and Germany, Massive!!! Had a lovely New Year sitting around the fire in the garden having tea!! Its been quite hot over the last few days 42 was the highest we've had but think its going to calm down and be 26 tomorrow 😊
