Arriving in Melbourne

We arrived in Melbourne late at night and were met by Neil's two cousins John and Stephen, they took us to Johns house in Wondong its in the country.Its very dark out here no street lights had a cuppa then we went to bed. Next day woke up early to a lovely sight we were on a farm with 40 acres of land the sun was out,its cold at this time of year but you do get a few sunny days.Neil and I wet for a walk around the farm , there's a lovely horse called Sophie, two dogs, Scruffy&Cess a few chickens and a sheep with a massive wolley coat. I'm scared of animals so dont know how I will go along. had a lovely BBQ and met the rest of the family, drank some wine!Neils into the local beer VB the bottles are called Stubbies justgetting used to the slang,Next day Neil wanted to help witha few jobs so he decided to clean out the chichen pen, i thuoght I would take a picture, as I approached the hen hut armed with camera the dogs had followed me, the chickens flew out of the hen hut and over the fence , scruffy made a dash to grab the chicken by its thought and i did an about turn carn't stand birds that fly!Neil was screaming at scruffy I carried on running roun the farm, missed the picture by the way, Hired a car the next day we got it for a week, we are going to look at lots of campervans for sale.
