We have been packing (and repacking) suitcases - trying to get Kate's stuff to fit in a medium size suitcase - it didn't work!
So, yesterday I bought her a new LARGE green suitcase - which should do the job nicely.

This is one of the hardest parts of the trip, getting it down to 20 Kg each. Or more likely as with us He 7.5 Kgs and She 33.5 Kgs but we appreciate it when they look good don't we? One thing I found after years of living out of suitcases i
s to roll things rather than fold them. Start by folding things like shirts flat as you would normally then roll them up - they seem to fit into the case better, come out less wrinkled and are easier to find without unpacking everything. Take only small amounts of shampoo, toothpaste etc. - Buy them at your destination. Also remove things like skin creams from bottles as much as possible and put into plastic bags, Zip lock of course and squeeze the air out of them before closing. Saves space and weight. Remember if you take daily medication carry it in your hand baggage if possible then if your bags go to the other Seville in Spain without you you will still have your medications available. Gaz
