End of March

Well its the end of march, the first month.
In review it's been a crazy 4 weeks, but quite an experience sorting out the house, and seeing a new city. We're starting to acknowledge our lack of friends over here now but i'm sure thatll change soon enough. I had my first week of work this week at bikeNOW which wasnt too bad, seem like a good bunch of guys workin there and its only a 15minute ride from our place which is easy.

The commonwealth games came and went, and were good. More so just to be in the city and be a part of the 'experience' cos the actual events were a little sub standard at times. Most events only had 10 elite athletes, and as you are probably all aware Australia completely dominated! Everything is starting to come together now, and were trying to catch up with all our potential friends, today is stus birthday and we went out for dinner with marcus then for a couple of drinks at our local bar called mothersmilk which is a cool little place off chapel st - but quite expensive. We've got a few nights out on the town planned for tomorrow and friday then its grand prix on sunday. We're goin in general admission area but it should be cool to see the F1 cars in action! I don't have any new pictures as yet, but will post some up once weve seen the grand prix, and ive been goin for some long rides on my bike around to mornington peninsula (about 150ks) so will try and take a camera out there next time cos the cliffs and coastline are pretty cool!
