Travel Blog 22 to 28 September(Apollo Bay to Melbourne)

We made it back!On Monday we stayed at Apollo Bay and spent the day at Cape Otway on what was the worst day of weather for the trip.It is an historic part of Australia as it was often the first sight of land immigrants got of Australia.The photo shows why it became "the shipwreck coast".Tues. was fine and we had a relatively short journey back into Melb. without any major drama.It has been the week of the Grand Final here(AFL) so lots going on.It was great to see family again and esp. wee Olivia.Graham was off to Torres Strait Wed. so just Di here at Elsternwick where we have stayed.We have put in quite a few hours cleaning the car and van getting them ready for sale.We have a lot of gear so whether we bring it all back or leave it for another trip remains to be seen.It will be good to get home and see family and friends.
