Looking at the Fog from the boat rampLooking at the Fog from the boat rampLooking at the Fog from the boat ramp

Heading out from the boat ramp the fog was rolling in from the other side of the lake.
Well the day started out early for Steve, Sarn and Samantha. The three hit the road to try out their luck. They went out on the lake
and then headed out to the Big Ocean. Steve said it was a great experience, on that he had been looking forward to for a long time.
The waves were a little high and the temperature a little cool, but the trip was so much fun. Steve was able to catch 3 fish---only one was a keeper, but the pictures he took were great.
The rest of us girls decided to stay home and enjoy the day. Carrissa was not filling well (we think she was cutting a few more teeth).
Ella & I baked a cake and I made banana bread. As you can tell we are eating quit well.
You will see some great pictures that Steve has taken just from the back yard of some really neat birds etc. He has taken several on our little trips around the area of signs etc.
Our plans for this week are not major. We went yesterday to see the sonogram of our grandchild. It was the second one that Steve has been able to view. Erica is 12 weeks so we were not able to determine if it is a boy or a grirl yet. On Friday grandma will be going back to Kinder (Pre-school) to make little cheesecakes (thanks for sending the receipe Gail).
On Sunday we are going to Judiet and Judy's home for dinner.
They are going to be fixing lamb (another new food to taste).
Oh yes---we had our first Kangaroo dogs the other night. Steve said they were not bad (needless to say grandma could not bring herself to taste them).
Our next big plan is our week long trip. We will be going all the ocean road south and have many many places to see. We know that we will have lots of stories and pictures to share.

Yes the parrots are just in the yard. There are swans and many more birds just here and there. Steve is working on more pictures. We even had a hedgehog in the yard yesterday.
