Testing the blog before departure...so seems to be working.After London we picked up Ruby,the camper ..she is a bit old needed a paint inside but apart from that has everything we need for a home the next 6 months.
Have been here for 2 weeks already and still deep in the west country.I feel like Alice in Wonderland things and me seem to be shrinking.The streets,the houses and the doorways...one has to pull in and move more quietly..everything is so neat. Dartmoor the first stop is beautiful ,the heather in full bloom and the hay harvest smelling so sweet.
Denis is searching for a decent expresso...none yet
Brithish food is different ..I love the canned food they stuff everything into a can...sausages and bacon ..korma..meat pies ..its amazing..just waiting for the sunday roast.!!!
Devonshire ham and cheese is to die for.
Lyme regis was stunning..ate some cockles with vinegar which were fresh and gorgeous.
Currently in East Coker where TS Elliot is buried.exploring the thatched cottages...off to Totnes tomorrow an old hippie haven then shrink yet further into Cornwall..will we ever get out.

Hi Guys, sounds like you're having a ball, we are very envious. Cornwall looks fantastic. Gary hasn't found the name of the church yet, we will have another concerted effort to find the stuff over the next few days. Your van looks great, perfect for the trip. Love the photos, everything looks very beautiful!! Very cold here. It's Tuesday morning, I'm about to go to work, yuk,, bit of a late start today.
